I am an advocate for home ownership, and passionate about all topics real estate related! I love to help people who have a real estate dream, and together, determine if that dream can become a viable reality. I come by this career naturally; My father and his siblings were realtors, and I learned early-on the significance of real estate ownership as a means to increase one’s personal wealth. I worked as an unlicensed assistant for my dad while in university, and once I graduated from university, I became a sales consultant for a Florida homebuilder. This work experience gave me a glimpse of real estate sales as a career, however, I chose to pursue a different type of real estate career, and became a mortgage broker. I am the founder and broker of record for Verico One Mortgage Corp., which is a full-service mortgage brokerage firm based in Grimsby Ontario. I have a team of brokers and agents that work from a second office in St. Catharines. I love numbers! I am a real estate investor and member of the Canadian Association of Private Lenders (CAPL). I hold an Hons. B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto, and a Post-Diploma (Honours) in Financial Services Underwriting, from Seneca College, Toronto. Over the past 26 years, as a mortgage broker, I have earned the role of trusted-advisor to my clients. I am unique in that I view every mortgage application not simply as a transaction, but as a potential long-term relationship, and I work diligently to foster that relationship long after the mortgage has closed. As your realtor, I hope to accomplish this same feat - to earn the role of long-time trusted advisor in your home buying-and-selling journey. Home buyers and sellers who choose to hire me as their realtor will have the distinct advantage of my mortgage brokering experience. I can proudly state that no real estate purchase offer has fallen apart where I have also been responsible for arranging the mortgage financing as a condition of that offer. I also have a superior knowledge of the intricacies of bridge financing - which can be additional leverage in offer-negotiation to ensure a winning outcome. Other transferrable skills that differentiate me from my peers is that I am an effective communicator, and creative thinker. In my years of mortgage brokering, I have been privy to thousands of real estate sales contracts; One could not ask for better real estate education - I’ve seen what works, and what doesn’t work. My goal now, is to be your go-to person for anything “real estate”.  A "house" as a physical asset that gets acquired; It is one of the best ways to protect oneself against inflation and build wealth, and “home” is the emotional connection that’s driven to it.
